"Helles" is German for "Pale" and refers to a beer's color, usually indicating a beautiful pale gold color. Using all imported German and Pilsner malts and Northern Brewer, Hallertau, and Tettnang hops, we consider this golden, malt accented lager to be "angelic" in its level of taste; a perfectly balanced Lager. After its primary fermantation, we gradually lower the temperature of the beer to near freezing during the secondary storage to create a smooth, thirst quenching beer. The subtle yet heavenly hop aroma and flavor lends itself to be an easy, good drinking beer. And as Benjamin Franklin said... "There can't be good living where there is not good drinking."

A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. A lemon and hay aroma. The flavor is primarily lemon with a bit of breadiness and hay. Ok for a summer brew if you are dying of thirst and looking for a nice dehydrating beverage.
