Clear lighter yellow with white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is bit weak, malty. Taste is tingling bittersweet, quite high carbonated. Aftertaste is bittersweet, dry, long lasting. (Velp 201210)

I did not like this beer at all, so I'll be objhective about it as best I can. I had this on tap in Switzerland. It's a hazy gold beer with a thick white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, and spices...but the yeast and spices don;t come through as well as they do with the regular Duvel. The flavour is the same...a poor version of it's well reknowned cousin.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large foamy head with huge bubbles and some good retention. Aroma of spicy yeast with some semi-sweet Belgian malt. Taste is a nice mix between some distinctive Moortgat spicy yeast and some distinctive Belgian malt. Body is fuller then average with some great carbonation. Lighter then the original Duvel but an interesting beer nonetheless.

Pale golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is grass, alcohol, cooked vegetables and some sweetish malts. Flavour is mainly cooked vegetables with some hints of spices, caramel and fruits.
