Purchased in Vermont and drinking at home, to end my Easter vacation. Pours an unfiltered, golden-amber colour, with lots of sediments through it. The head is warm-coloured with good stay and nice lacing. Flavours of grassy leafs with light caramel malts. Piney aromas with the grassy hops and orange notes. Hints of rusty water. Gets better with time. Nice bitterness, some citrus (mostly oranges) lingers. A decent IPA.

Had this both at their brewery and also bought at a local liquor store. Must say, brewery is zlways better. I recently had a 22 oz bottle, poured a orange color with medium head.. I usually wait 10 to 15 min for beer to warm up before consuming to get a better true taste. Citrus aroma evident, taste was refreshing in this 100 degree weather. I enjoyed this beer and like the double IPA offered at the brewery!

Not quite agreeing with the low marks, though this beer didn't stand out at all. It was however an average iPa and was quite fresh. Citrus hops slight fruitiness and a light malt balance. Not bad but I could see a lighter iPa like this fading quickly in a bottle.

A forgotten review I just stumbled upon. Received in trade from Stoutlover many, many moons ago. Subdued hop profile, much better in the aroma than flavor. Dirty copper pour with a long lasting head and good lacing. Chewy and medium bodied, balanced. Flavor is a heavy mix of thick malt and mild fruity hops. Almost has a malt extract homebrew thing going on and could use another bucket or two of hops.

Sampled on 1/18/2011. This India Pale Ale pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is citrusy, orange, floral and sweet. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, some orange and orange rind. The hops are citrusy and herbal. Good carbonation. A mild IPA by west coast standards, the bitterness is mostly in the background and it kind of hangs around at the finish. My first impression is that it’s overall a little sweet, but the sweetness kind of fades at the finish. A very drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

On tap. I’ve never heard of this brewery before and it’s right under my nose. Went to a local pizza joint and here it was on tap. So I ordered up a pitcher.
Server brought out 2 frozen mugs for me and my brother. Asked them for non-frozen ones. The beer is obviously kept extremely cold, next to the Coors Light and Bud kegs. Absolutely zero aroma coming off the beer. After about 10 minutes of warming up, some light citrus notes start to emerge. It doesn’t get much more than that however. Flavor has a nice clean citrus/pine bite to it, a clean malt profile with a bit of lingering bitterness. It would have been better had it been a pale ale, as it really reminded me of a fresh SNPA. Body was crystal clear, with a solid golden yellow color. Zero head, even after several attempts at swirling. Not bad though. Not bad.
