Another in the long line of draught only beers from the GTA brewer County Durham. Hop Addict is a moderate ABV IPA with a lot of aroma, and not so much flavour, for me anyway. The beer pours a clear light copper colour with very little head. The aroma is nice citrusy hops, some caramel and some grains. The flavour however isn’t as hop forward as the aroma would indicate.

Enjoyed on tap at bar VOLO, Toronto (great place). Pours orangish-copper, good clarity, small head. Smells sweet and fruity with herbal hop notes to balance. Flavor is nearly balanced, simple, enjoyably drinkable. A really fun blend of malt, fruit, and hops bitterness. Medium bodied, appropriately carbonated.

The beer was a translucent reddish-gold with a thin white head. The aroma was primarily floral hops with smidgen of malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, medium carbonated, and bitter on the tongue. The flavour was grapefruity hops, some peppery hints, and a little malt. -

The beer is described as an IPA but I'm not sure that it really is. It is a clear coppery coloured beer with a white head. The aroma is balanced in favour of the hops, with a little malt backdrop. The flavour is pretty hop forward as well. Tons of grapefruity goodness in this one.

I smelt more Goldings than Cascades, which is fitting as the beer starts out more like an English bitter or English IPA. Very soapy. The middle gets somewhat IPA ish, but the finish is definately APA. The mouthfeel is tangy and tart and lasts awhile. There is a nice head that lasts ahwile but the colour dosen't do much for me. Overall, not bad, but disappointing. That's twice now that County Durham has disappointed me.

Modest head, clear copper in colour. Definte cascades hit right off the bat. Very citruisy, like a sweet beer juice! Medium bodied and very refreshing. Well balanced. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that this beer falls very within the archetype of APA. That is to say 'load it up with cascades and youll impress people'. Though this does offer a good finish and some malt to hold up past the hops. I did enjoy it, happy to see a Canadian brewery introduce a product like this. I wish they bottled this cause Id love to drink it again. Greatly enjoyed in the warm weather.
