A deep mahogany colored beer with a three fingered light tan, sudsy textured head rising above. There’s good hang time on the head. A moderate ringlet and light cap are left. There ar light notes of smokiness and bacon on the nose. The bacon dominates in the tasting. A rich, full bodied beer. It is chock full of flavor that nails a good brew.

I had a few in this style. This is more of an imperial version. Semi-creamy texture and feel. Smokey aroma. Medium brown hazy appearance. Flavors of heavy caramel malt, bread, smokey bacon, and German hops. I was a little worried about the growler price, but something stronger and unique to share with some friends.
