Peppermint? I ws not sure when I ordered this beer. But I was pleasantly surprised. A deep black in color with a big frothy textured, brown head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. It settles eventually into thick film aside the glass and ringlet/cap atop the body. Peppermint dominates in the profile but pleasantly so. There's a presence in the tasting of roasted malt and chocolate hints as well. Medium bodied.
