Our award winning imperial IPA gets even better with the addition of Florida grapefruit peel. Enjoy the great flavors of citrus-heavy hops with some intense pithy bitterness from the use of fresh peel from Indian River County, Florida.

An orange colored beer with a big sudsy textured, white head rising above. There;s good hang time on the head. A thick ringlet is left There’s a light citric nose. Grapefruit dominates in the tasting and moderates the untensity of the IPA. A smmoth, effervescnt drink

Cat 5 is one of my favorite beers (especially for IPA). This is even better than the regular.. with a twist of grapefruit. Not the sweet kind, but the local tart FL fruit. The base is about the same, as is the strength. I grabbed a little extra at the brewery, as I have not seen it on the shelves here in Orlando yet, but ran out. Hoping they still have some in a couple weeks when I make my next visit, or they make it a regular in the rotation or seasonal.
