http://duesouthales.com/jm/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=57&Itemid=63 -When this IPA makes landfall you'll know it. Brewed only upon availability of special hops (generally a few times a year), this big IPA packs a wallop of flavor. Get ready Florida, the Cat 5 is coming... Interesting Fact: There is no interesting fact. This beer is interesting enough on it's own. Food Pairings Nachos with Jalepenos

While the CAT 4 reminded me of an East Coast/Florida style IPA, this one is that hop-walloped West Coast IPA that stands out! Lots of citrus and bitter here. Medium orange cloudy appearance. More orange colored than the CAT 4, not as much malt but more hops for sure. It's a DIPA, what do you expect? Could be the best IPA that I've had from East of the Mississippi...it's that good!

A bold orange in color with a small, frothy textured, white head that rises briefly above. Not much of a ringlet left behind. T%he profile is all hops with a caramel backdrop. The hops are intense, citric and piney. Some grapefruit notes in the usual citric presence. Bug alcohol bite in a light refreshing body.
