A special blend of American hops give this beer its unique flavor. Although fruity and citrusy, this beer has only four ingredients: malt, hops, yeast and water. Interesting Fact: This is the first beer Mike ever entered in a homebrew competition and it received an award that day. It was at Havana Hideout in Lake Worth, FL. Pours hazy apricot with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma features resiny hops and strong, tangy citrus. Flavor does not quite measure up to the aroma, but is still pleasing and enjoyable. Mouthfeel offers decent mouthfeel and lively fizz. Weather the ale.

This one is a little hard to rate for a standard IPA. Their Cat 4 and Cat 5 are definitely better, and with some many DIPAs, Imperial IPA, Strong Red Hybrids to compare now, this could get a lower rating. BUT....for a local standard 6% IPA, this is one smooth and tasty beer. Tropical hop flavors with this one, but enough malt in there to keep it East Coast. May not be one of my "bread-and-butters", but I'm sure I'll be drinking this a lot.

An orange colored beer with a medium sized head off white head. There was some hang time. Citric nose. Fruitiness comes through with the citric tasting. Well balanced as I was promosed. Medium bodied and smmoth.
