500 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Dremel Weissbier Vase an unfiltered and hazy copper-brown coloured Weissbier with a one finger light beige and dense foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Poor lacing. The aroma is wheat malts, fruity, bananas and a light but quite unpleasant sourish feeling. The flavour is wheat malts, fruity, bananas, citrus and sourish apples. The mouthfeel is crispy and quite thick. The texture is quite watery. This medium bodied Hefeweizen has a dry sourish fruits finish. May be some defect or infection with this Hefeweizen from a tiny brewery in the Bamberger Land.
