An Imperial I.P.A. brewed to be savored from a snifter. A big beer with a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate. Descriptors: Brandied fuitcake, raisiny, citrusy. This beer ages well!

Every time I drink this, it makes me feel really happy. I've tried the 60 minute and the 120 minute and both are good, but the 90 minute seems to have the best balance of hoppy bitterness and IPA flavor. I had one of these while I cleaned the house for a visit by my mother-in-law and I felt happy after I finished the beer. Seriously... I think there's more than alcohol in these. :-> BEST.... BEER.... EVER!

Enjoyed in Florida in a Smokey Bones restaurant. Hazy golden-amber colour with a warm frothy head that stays forever and results with thick foamy lacing. The taste is nicely balanced between the sweetness of the caramel malts and the grassy hops. The mouthfeel is well-balanced on the dry-side. Fruity malt most with warming alcohol, light yeast, caramel and hints of bananas. Everything is so well-blended, making this easy to go down.

Bottle. Colour – amber / gold, slight haze, weak off-white head, ample effervescence. Aroma – grapefruit, biscuit malt, pine, spice. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, well carbonated. Flavour – Well balanced between the malty cereal tones and the grapefruit notes of the hops. A very dry finish.

Growler time. Pours a crisp dark amber with a one finger head that lofts a bit. Nice carbonation. Aroma is heavy on the fruity hops, light pine and malts. Taste is heavy on the pine, light fruity hops, and a stout like malty backing. After taste reminds me of a porter, slight dry and malty backing. You can feel the burn and has a noticeable alcohol backing. I like it.

Its like, if hops could make you go blind, this beer might just do it. Although I didn't get much aroma out of it. The mouth feel is nice and rich and that's the only way it can stand up to the hops.

Somewhat hazy golden yellow with off white foam head, lasting and lacing. Aroma is not too strong but hoppy. Taste is quite bitter with some banana. Aftertaste is quite long lasting. (Houston 201306)

Pours a copper color. Smell is hoppy, some citrus. Taste is also hoppy, some malts and citrus, alcohol more pronounced as it warms. Overall a pretty good beer.

Pours a nice clear copper color with a good sized white head.Burnt pine and slight caramel aroma. All I need to say about the flavor is…Splendid. Thick,full-bodied. Very smooth, creamy and nice on the palate. Great lacing to the finish.Had this beer on draught and in bottle.Think I prefer the bottle after it has aged a couple of years. If you haven’t tried it,go get it.

It is interesting the phenomenon of typing less depending on how many reviews preceded yours. It seems like not much more beneficial can be added to the dialogue. I have to admit that the thought of constant hop additions is so romantic that this beer already scores high points, but that it is a super hoppy beer that is from the east coast and tastes like the east coast is double. Really enjoyed, like a super IPA, rather than and impy IPA, if that makes any sense, it doesn't have that huge mouthfeel and that resin that I sometimes love. I typed alot, it amounted to little, totally does not do this beer justice, just drink.

Amazing fruity hop scent that really let's you know what this beer is about. Taste is almost peachy followed by a thick malty rich mouthfeel and a nice bitter hop aftertaste. The one detraction may be the slight cloying nature due to the high gravity but all around a very good beer.

Not for the faint of heart. This beer goes straight to the hops. If you like hops, this is for you! Continious- hopped IPA appeared once, in Arizona, and dissapeared. It is two-times 90 minute IPA.
