Rosée d’Hibiscus is a soft spoken wheat beer. The rose colour comes from the hibiscus flowers added during the brewing process. The aromas and flavour of this tropical flower are very prominent in the beer, giving it a slight acidity and a very agreeable fragrance. It is the perfect thirst quencher on a hot summer day. The Rosée d'hibiscus was born in our Montreal brewpub in May 2006

341 ml bottle, from a Quebecois co-worker. ABV is 5.9%. Pinkish colour, slightly hazy. Very small and shortlived off-white head. Fairly strong wheaty, floral and fruity aroma, notes of lemons and hibiscus, hints of spices. Medium sour and lemony flavour, very refreshing. Mild spices in the finish.

Had this a few times, just always forgot to rate it .. . soft spoken wheat is right, a very delicate beer .. light wheat, light rosewater and sweet hay .. . light mouth .. . good as a session beer .. . . I want him in my office at nine o'clock Monday morning. We'll see who eats whose shorts.

Wow, what a weird looking beer. Head looks a little like a milkshake. Appearance is a hazy pinkish hue. Good lacing. Taste some berries, more strawberry/raspberry type, maybe even a bit of cherry. Floral aroma as well as herbal tea scents. Pretty good. Pretty easy flow for a thick looking brew.

Aroma is quite nice, mild hints of rose, strawberry, belgian yeast, and malt. Looks like a cloudy pink mess though, head doesn't last and it just doesn't look like what I would want to drink. Mouthfeel is medium, taste is pretty much a belgian wheat, no real stand out flavors. Finish is super dry, not bad but not the best.

Pours out in a cloudy yellow colour with a small white head. Wheat, dough, cookies, dried apricots, mild flowers and vanilla with lactic undertones. Medium-bodied with notes of dough, almond paste and vanilla with bitter undertones of orange-peels. Mild finish of yeast, dough and orange-peels.

God was this beer an interesting experience. I've smelled better perfumes, and tasted better sewer water. Okay...maybe I'm just not a fan of hibiscus. First of all, the beer is pink. It smells like fragrant perfume, and it doesn't really taste all that beery. An interesting concoction from one of Canada's better brewers - but not my cup of tea!

Aroma - reminds me of hibiscus tea right off the bat, dried strawberries, light wheat, and tart fruit.
Appearance - hazy blood orange body, foamy pink head about 1" thick, quick dissipation.
Taste - dried strawberries, corriander, hibsicus tea (kinda like a peach tea almost) and light floral bitterness
Palate - light bodied, easy carbonation, clean finish
Overall - really a nice change of pace beer, showcasing hibiscus and how it can work well in a beer. Nice! -

pours pink. very aromatic. almost like a perfume. very fruity though there's no actual fruit. the flowers here inpart a very tropical fruity aspect that overpowers everything else - in a good way. tasty and unique. i imagine the ladies would love this one, save for the price.

The beer poured a murky pinkish-red colour with a very thin head. The aroma was wheat malt, hibiscus, and some sweet fruit notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was a combination of tart floralness with a sweet fruit component. I've had much better beers by this brewer.
