Overall, I would say Delafield has a winner with this ale. Pleasing dark amber color with a tan head, adequate lacing, fruity aroma and enough hop to satisfy me. Singlemalter and I agreed that it was the best of the offerings we sampled . You couldnt drink very many of these and still see straight....

One of 9 Delafield brews sampled recently with HeddyMuggz at the brewhaus. A dark oak hue with an ivory-colored head and spotty lacing. Toffee and caramel aromas, with some fruitiness and light hop notes. Alcohol at 8.5% is warming and evident in the mouth, with a sweet flavor and alcohol in the finish. Probably the best of Delafield's offerings at the time of our tasting.
