Bomber from my (formerly) local BCLDB store. Dark yet clear amber pour with a creamy ivory head. Aroma of dark fruits and yeast. Spicy taste, not sweet, well-balanced it was. Buttery mouthfeel. Smooth finish. One of Dead Frog's better offerings.

Drank with beercronic on one of his visits to my part of the world, high on a hill, in some snow, hiking with friends, at night. Fantastic revision of this beer, some light prune/date/raisin yeast notes, very rich tasting but subdued, easily drinkable, has some donut to the mouthfeel. light cinnamon-sugar. Light to medium bodied. Some dried cranberry in the finish. Great.
