Limited release of 700 bottles. Aged 8 months in an oak Connemara Barrel. Finesse , a degustationbeer of worldclass. A pure-malt ale, made of barley-, wheat- and ryemalt. 3 sorts of german noble hops and a long maturation on pine-resin gives this beer its outstanding taste and class. Finesse, a fruity and yet spicy triple, with a smooth pleasant bitterness, full flavour and still sufficient dry aftertaste to garantee drinkability. In short : a refined beer with nuances and Finesse. This beer is bottle-conditioned and will change in flavour during time.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 10

660 ml capped bottle in wrapped paper. Poured in a vase a soft gushing, unfiltered and hazy orange-copper coloured BSA with a two fingers light beige, fine, dense and pillowy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. A lot of floating sediments. The aroma is intense malty, toasted notes, dried fruits, raisins, vegetable, green olives, spicy, orange peels, oak and a peaty touch. The flavour is rich, solid malts, toasted notes, yeasty, spicy, orange peels, vanilla, fruity, oranges, citrus, woody and smokey tones, alcoholic notes on the whisky way. The mouthfeel is creamy, fulled, amazing smooth and light syrupy. The texture is oily. This full bodied BSA has a long spicy and alcoholic finish. The aftertaste is nice warming. A Belgian Strong Ale with character ! Complex and well balanced. I simply like it. What a nice tasting !
