330 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered hazy oak-burgundy coloured Ale with a short two fingers beige creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, notes of chocolate, a bunch of spices from which licorice is emerging, alcoholic notes. The flavour is caramel malts, candy sugar, toffee and spicy, heavy licorice. The mouthfeel is crispy and sparkling. This medium bodied BSA has a dry sweety finish. Although sweety, a pleasant Belgian Stron Ale.

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Orangeish brown colour with a mediumsized off-white to beige head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is wheat, caramel, some slight fruityness as well as yeast. Flavour is wheat, caramel, mild notes of chocolate as well as some toffee and mild creamy notes.

Described by Ratebeer as a Wheat Ale, I've classed it as a Belgian Strong Ale here (and I found no wheat character anyway) as it has the candy sugar in it. The beer pours a copper colour, cloudy, with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, toffee, and sugar comes through the nose. The flavour is sweet, but not overly so, with an abundance of malt.
