The Corruption is our take on an India Pale Ale. We will corrupt your palate with dangerously drinkable malts as well as assertively piney and citrusy hop aromatics.

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a pure gold body that exhibits a slight hop haze and supports a white head of foam. The aroma offers up snippets of citrus hops running into a bit of spicy hops and a slight sort of earthiness. The taste has a pine like hop bitterness and blends into a grapefruit hop note. Midway and into the finish I get some earthy to spicy hops joining the fun and adding a pleasing level of depth to the experience. Nice IPA.

I picked this beer up from the Wine Gourmet in Roanoke, Virginia. This particular beer didn't blow me away and is probably getting an unfair score b/c I had it right after Clown Shoes' Galactica IP which I thought was outstanding. This beer came off ordinary after that one.

Pours cloudy, orangy-amber with small, lasting head. Evergreen dominates the aroma while the flavor boasts grapefruit and floral character. Aggressively hopped for both flavor and bittering. Medium bodied with strong carbonation. I really liked sampling this one a lot. Thanks to mwiscount for making it happen!

Beautiful true amber, just a little hazy, with an inch cap leaving nice lace. Got a whiff of bubble gum off the pour, but that seems to be an anomaly. Aroma of deep, rich caramel, pine, and a bit of mango and pineapple, which is really working for me. Clear pine flavor from beginning to end, a truly unrelenting bitterness that lingers and just will not let go. I do feel the flavor, while good, is a bit of a one-trick pony. Would nicely cut a greasy meal, especially something with tang, but keep in mind this ale's got its own weight: for something that's barely sticky, it's pretty heavy. Very fine carbonation is just perfect. Not my style, nor my preference for this style, but worthy of respect. In the end, my score for this beer will be higher than I think the flavor merits, but I have to be honest about the other dimensions.

From DCDave aka FoamDome. Amber pour with ample white head, nice lacing, ample carbonation. Grapefruit and citrus hops in the initial nose, with ample malts, a touch of caramel, very slight pineapple. Taste follows the nose: grapefruit, ample caramel malts sweetness to somewhat offset bitterness, nice linger. Huge thanks to DC Dave for this jewel.

Had to try this one on name alone - draft from Churchkey in Washington, DC. Dark amber with a slightly orange hint. Pine/resin with a slight floral quality to the nose. Bold, bitter IPA flavor that true to form was a pallette wrecker. Nice and enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy dark brown color. Smell is of piney hops. Taste is piney hops, some malts, very bitter. Overall not a bad beer but I have had far better IPA's.
