Dark brown with a creamy tan-colored foam. Quite rich and smooth aroma of dark chocolate, molasses, oats, honey and cinnamon. Medium-to light-bodied with acidic notes of burnt malts and black chocolate. medium-bitter finish of black chocolate, burnt malts and mild smoke.

500 ml bottle, bought in Scarborough. ABV is 4.0%. Pitch black colour, large brown head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee, hints of tar, wood and leather. Creamy mouthfeel. The flavour is dominated by cocoa / chocolate, also notes of coffee, brown bread and burnt caramel, a little fruit too. Pretty good.

Pitchblack opaque colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, and chocolate. Flavour is roasted coffee beans with smokeish hints. Not too much chocolate noted in the flavour. Quite watery.

Very nice package, just like a whiskey bottles sometimes have :) Color is like it should be in Stout - black. Nice rich foam, that stays quite long. Aroma is rich roasty and caramely. In taste the chocolate is not dominating, but it's still there. Good.
