We took an aggressive approach to this American red ale by adding rye and a pinch of lampong peppercorn. Sweet malt. lightly roasty and aromatic. Like every good riot, this beer finishes with a subtle hint pepper.

16 oz can. Pours slightly hazy reddish amber with a big pillowy off white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is slightly vegetal caramel malts, some roast, spicy rye and some floral notes.
The flavor is bready vegetal malts with a little rye and fruit and a grassy and metallic bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with slightly sharp carbonation.
Overall, a flawed rye. A bit vegetal and metallic.
