Comes out of the tap a dark, reddish, barely transparent brown with a fairly thick, fine-bubbled, light tan head. Aroma has a strong horehound overtone and hints of caramel and coffee. Sumptuous flavor has horehound, caramel, semi-sweet chocolate and roast coffee notes. Texture is fairly thick and fizzy, leaving a smoky and slightly candy-sweet finish. Look for it.

Had at the end of a long afternoon of good cheer, good friends, and a heck of a tasting, this beer held up great .. . pours deep black, medium head, light lacing .. . tar, roast, and burnt cigar ash .. . medium mouth .. . a good brew .. . . No dad, Kyle's dad sucks. He can't even get a nerection.
