Our Gunslinger Double India Pale Ale starts with a rich malt base to which we add hops, hops and more hops. This skillful blend of malt sweetness and aggressive hoppiness will rule your senses! After the addition of Columbus, simcoe, centennial and citra hops at various points of the brewing process, we reach the final IBU count of 93.

An orange-amber colored beer with a big frothy textured, off white head rising robustly above. There's great hang time on the head. It settles into impressive lacing. There's an tine of sweetness in the nose and in the tasting cutting through the hops. Very hoppy with some earthiness, a lot of citric, some floral. Full bodied and a bit slick on the tongue

Rich copper amber pour, medium white head, ample lacing. Earthy nondescript hops nose and taste, almost stale on both accounts, some floral, some maltiness, just not up to other big IIPAs. Let down. Hard to finish knowing that I have Hoptimum and other great IIPAs in my fridge.

Aroma is strong and VERY hoppy, with undertones of dry hay and fresh grapefruit. It pours a hazy golden yellow with a very thick and rather persistent ivory head. Hoppy flavor is more sweet than bitter, citrus-fruity with hints of hay and butterscotch. Butterscotch? First time I’ve gotten a snip of that in an IPA. Firm, smooth texture has a subtle but persistent fizz, leaving a tingly, fruity, hoppy finish. Sling some down your throat!
