    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle, bought at the brewery, B B end 2014. Poured an unfiltered and hazy orange-brown coloured A A with a generous two fingers slightly beige dense and creamy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. Some floating sediments. The aroma is toasted malts, spicy, star anis, honey notes and floral hops. The flavour is sweety toasted malts, caramel, a bunch of spices, star anis, cinnamom, orange peels, gingerbread, ginger, herbs, rosmarin, herbal hops. The mouthfeel is crispy, fulled and light sticky. The texture is quite thick. This medium to full bodied A A has a dry malty and spicy finish. Indeed, a really pleasant and well tasting A A from Picardie. A question to François, the brewer : Why is this brew only available in the X-time ?
