This is a good summer refresher. Is it a true beer? no but it is tasty. Straw color with white head sweet like pop Not a session drink One is fine. I like it wit a ploughmans or fish and chips. It adds zip to basic food.

500 ml bottle, ABV 4.0%, from Joker Vatlandsvåg. Also sampled on numerous occasions previously. I still think this "beer" should be unrateable, but apparently it is. Best served over ice, this alcoholic soda has a nice ginger flavour and "burn" throughout. Golden colour, pours sparkling with a large white head. Sugar, fruit soda esters and ginger - a lot of it. A nice drink when I want something else than a beer.

Kinda dug this one, as I love ginger. It was light and refreshing, showing NO alcohol and quite the hot ginger bite. I'd get again. We poured it normal, and over ice with a lemon as suggested. Gotta say, it was a good suggestion.

Single bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a nice frothy white head, good retention and thick creamy lacing. Sweet and spicy nose, with the ginger and mild orange notes. The taste is sweet as expected, as their original brew and the orange flavour does seem natural. Not overpowering, but does add a nice twist to their main brew. Still, a tad too sweet to have many.

Seems like a ginger ale soda with its golden colour with foamy slightly off-white head that stays longer than its soda brother. Some lacing, but not much. Decent strong ginger nose with some notes of burnt wood in the background. Mild syrupy and sweet mouthfeel. Close to tasting a ginger ale, and even sharper with real ginger, but not much of a beer. I guess it is not much of a beer judging from the ingredients, but still nice to try once.

I used to sneak shots of my parents' Crabbie's Ginger Wine back when I was in my formative teenaged alcoholic years, so I'm vaguely familiar with their products. This one came with a medium clear gold and virtually no head. Almost no aroma, either. Taste however, was better, with lots of sweet ginger, almost too sweet yet not to where it was cloying. Mouthfeel was superior, very sold and smooth, yet also with a ginger bite. NOT a sessionable beer.

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in an English tulip pint a clear rich golden-amber colored beverage with a one finger beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Active carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is a strong sweety-herbal juice and an overwhelming spicy presence, ginger. The flavour is quite the same, the herbal juice is heavy sweety and the ginger shattered in any corner ! The mouthfeel is extremely spicy and sweety. This light bodied beverage has a lingering spicy and sweety finish. This strickly two ways product, without barley and hops, needs an accustomed time
