This porter pours a deep brown color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized beige foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, some smoke and some tobacco. A light to medium bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and coffee, touches of roasty malt and tobacco. Nicely balanced. The roasty malts are balanced by some sweetness, but its more roasty and chocolate than sweet. The finish is a little astringent. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitte

Black, solid frothy head which is brownish. Great taste in the body here. Nuts and chocolate roasted nicely. Powerful and Smooth. A truly decent porter.
