One taste of this fabulous beer at the brewpub and I immedaiately had them fill a growler to take home. A week later it poured a bright orangish-copper color with an enourmous, billowy creamy white head with great retention and lacing. Just a fabulous looking beer. The nose is earthy grain and big hops, both citrus and floral, even some faint pine. Firm, crisp and dry on the palate. The taste is superb; rye grain, grapefruit, and robust, bitter hops. A full, slightly bitter but well-balanced finish. This is quite the beer!
