Version: Coors Banquet Beer brewed by Molson Breweries of Canada
An unimpressive entry from one of the big three. The beer is a very light yellow colour in the glass, with a very thin white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma dissipates as the beer is poured from the bottle into the glass. The taste reminds me of burnt sugar and this taste lingers for quite a while after the beer is gone. The mouthfeel is too watery as well. This is the only beer I can think of where the 'Lite' version is superior in taste. Not a beer I would recommend to my enemies let alone my friends

Bottle/Can/Draught. Colour - a transparent light straw colour with a generous white head that is short-lived and plenty of effervescence. Aroma - light grains, corn, musty hops, and grass. Mouthfeel - light and watery, well carbonated. Flavour - stale grains with hints of cardboard. Not a fan.

Pours a typical straw yellow, not impressive. Aroma is not much, a little malty and nothing else. Flavor, well, what one expects from an industrial brew. Texture, well, fizzy but not firm. This is why I prefer craft brews.

Growing up in Oklahoma this was the first beer I ever drank. On a hot day a ice cold mug,can or bottle is still pretty refreshing but no longer a beer I would want to drink more than two or three at a sitting. In Oklahoma we knew it as Colorado Kool Aid.

Pours a thick foamy head but goes away pretty quick. No lacing whatsoever. Pale straw coloured appearance. Light malt aromas with a dash of wheats. Mild malt flavours, some wheats and grains. Very light citrus hop flavours also. Fairly weak carbonation. Better than the light version!

Had this one in Vegas last, but did not rate (as I was drinking on the street - had to try it. :). Now, got this big can from ShopRite in Albany, NY. Light golden colour, white foamy head, not lasting too long and leaving a bit of lace. Malty nose. Malty taste. Kind of boring and good to give you a headache.

I remember the days when you couldn't get coors east of the Old Miss. now i wish we couldn't. pours a very pale yellow with a small quickly disappearing head. Taste is very watery and plain. Must be served ice cold. Just another cheap mega brewery brew. stop spending money on advertising and spend a little on making the beer taste better!

Had during a Coors threesome along with Coors Light and Coors Light Iced Tea version. This was the beeriest of the three, the darkest of the three (not saying mych considering you could read a magazine through the other two) and the most full bodied. Again, compared to the Coors Light Iced Tea, this was heaven in a bottle, compared to a Creemore Springs Lager....it's more like 2 minutes of chugging hell.

In college this was one of the most common selections at parties and I could literally get drunker and get more flavor off of downing water and a bag of red hot candies. Literally.

I was surprised at the smoothness of this beer. I expected it to be closer to Coors light. Goes well with a quick meal. Plus the can lets you know if your refrigerator is working.

Not a bad macro brew, not good either but it is passable and seems to be enjoyed by most people who try it. Certainly not remarkable, however. I will drink it again, as I'm sure I'll drink a lot of swill as time goes by.
