Purchase a sixer of these a couple of weeks ago, the fact that i still have 1 should say volumes. Not really that good, and they should of left this bad recipe rest where they found it. I had higher hopes .

Another stab at crafting from a macrobrew. This one a golden amber in color with a big fluffy off white head rising above. There's good hang time on the head. Settles eventually into a thin ringlet. A sweet wheat nose. More sweet, biscuit grains with a grassy balance. Light and drinkable as a session beer.

I thought this was pretty good reminded a bit of Herman Joseph that Coors made in the 70's and 80's not as good but close. I liked the balance very drinkable. It goes with a number of foods. not a bad addition to the Coors line.

Amber color with a white head. Aroma is faint with some citrus and caramel. Flavor is dry with some citrus and grassy notes. This is the yuengling of the west. Overall let go of the bmc bias and have a decent lager.

With all the great craft beers accessible everywhere these days, American lagers, to me, should taste as close to seltzer water or club soda as possible. You want a cheap beer around 5% alcohol that you can buy for get-togethers and just get drunk. I rank Bud Light one of the best of the 'let's get drunk' cheap beers, and this Batch 19 tastes pretty good, even when it's losing its chill factor - but it tastes like the cheap stuff, not very crafty. Coors should ditch their lineup, make Batch 19 their new flagship beer, and make it cheap, like 30 cans for $22.00. It's a good, average beer, try at least a couple times. For the marketing - the whole 'pre-prohibition' thing - I dunno. I bought it out of curiousity, but on tasting, I wouldn't be able to tell this apart from Bud Light or some of the lower quality craft brews on the market in a blind taste test. But, it's decent.

pours a golden amber in color with a wispy very small head that broke apart in seconds. The aroma was a bit of a sweet and herbal aroma was a bit off putting. The taste was light caramel flavor with some grainy malt sweetness, some grass, and a mild hop bitterness created somewhat of an off balanced and sweeter than exepected lager. The mouthfeel was light in body. Light crispness to start, smooth at the finish. Relatively clean aftertaste. Actually for a Macro brewery this wasn't that bad of a beer!

From the tap and into a plastic cup... the bar wasn't using any of their normal glassware because it's Mardi Gras... Moderate to deep amber with only a slight head, malty flavor with a light hop aroma. Smooth throughout. Pleasantly surprised to find out it's a Coors product.

Bottle. A medium copper colored body with a light white head. The nose has some malty hay. There is also a bite of dusty raw barley. The taste is fairly bitter old dusty books with raw grains. There is a bread crust finish along with notes of celery and raw potato. This is decent and overall dry. Actually, this is enjoyable to drink.

Well - had to try this, it was all the pub had that I hadn’t already tried. Pours a clear golden amber with a fluffy and fine-bubbled wheat head. Have to give the big brews credit, they know how to make their pseudo-craft brews look. Strongly fruity and rather sweet aroma has a malty undertone. Flavor, though, is quite good - malty, fruity and hoppy, rather toothsome. Body is about average, though there is decent fizz. Coors, you’re not fooling anybody - but your Batch 19 is at least superior to your other stuff. Gotta give the devil his due. ;)

This one was crystal clear and had a brownish/golden hue to it, mild carbonation and it was topped off with an off white head that quickly thinned out. It did have some mild lacing. Overall, this beer looked nice and inviting. The aroma was a bit thin, some roasted wheat mixed in with roasted hops came through, but I couldn’t pick up much else. The taste was really good, smooth throughout and mild malts flavor dominated the beer, the bitterness isn’t overwhelming. The aftertaste has a mild hoppy and alcohol taste but it’s easy to swallow. By the way, this beer has a light-to-medium mouth feel. Overall not bad, better than i thought it would be.
