A unique spin on a classic style, this spicy wheat ale starts with a blend of Maris Otter, white wheat, and a hint of rye, which is then infused with Cascade hops and fermented on German Hefe’ yeast. Notes of clove and banana can be found along with hints of spice from the rye.

I hate wheat beers. But I love this one! Pours crystal clear with a thick wheaty head. Mouth feel is thick and the taste is of wheat and biscuits. Finish is clean. Damn you COOP. Start bottling (or canning) this beer.

Pours a misty, medium golden color with airy, lasting head. Aroma features clove, black pepper, and banana esters playing against floral and grass notes. Flavor is sweet, spicy, more intense than other American takes on this style. Medium bodied and slightly viscous. I enjoy it for what it is. Folks that like a good wheat, will really enjoy this one. It is only available on tap currently, but lots of places around Oklahoma City are pouring it.
