Beer Store #2021 (Milton, Ontario, Canada – Sobey’s Plaza)
473ml can
4.6% ABV
$2.95
The beer pours a translucent pale gold colour with a huge head that quickly disappears despite the high effervescence. The aroma is grains, yeast, and noble-ish hops. The mouthfeel is light bodied with average carbonation. The flavour leans heavily towards the malty side of the spectrum without being overly sweet.

Pours clear watery gold with 20 second white head. The aroma is corn kernels out of a can, sweet sugary malts and a murmur of earthiness. The taste hits first with both corn and sweet malts and then followed by a carbonation enhance floral and earthy hoppiness. It sort of stays that way into the finish where the sweetness builds up but doesn't become too bothersome.

Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV is 4.6%. Pale golden colour, low white head. The aroma has some sweetish malts, maize, dust and grass. Bland flavour, some grainy notes, a little sweetness, hardly any bitterness. Utterly forgettable.

Clear yellow, white lacing foam head. Typical aroma of a mass produced lesser quality lager. Taste is still bit of OK, but it'ss another country tick. (Galveston 201705)

¡Sandinista! and Bianca Jagger... Pale yellow fizzy beer, bubbly short-lived white head, weak lacing. Watery corn and malt sweetness, very weak grassy hops presence, thin. Nicaragua marked off.

pours a straw yellow in color with a lot of visible carbonation with a white head that gone quickly leaving no lace. The aroma is light corn with a metallic twang and pennies. The taste has some light corn with a little sweetness as well as little lemon. The mouthfeel is pretty good and pretty crisp and fair amount of carbonation. This is really good on a hot sunny day.

Pours a pale yelow color. Smell is of corn and grains. Taste is light, corn, a touch of grain, very mild. Overall this beer was good when I was in Nicaragua a year ago in the heat, not so good back home in PA.

Had this one a few years ago and thought, there's not much difference here between this and Corona or Sol, but Sol is still better amongst the three. A little skunky.

Toña: drank Jan 27 2009 , 7:15pm: light yellow with sparse head ... light grain and light sweetness .. "its called an automobile folks, it's much faster than a horse" ... a clean beer, has a simple flavour profile, non offensive, better than most macros .. i enjoyed it ...

Tona had a decent looking body, straw colored with ample carbonation. Downhill from there though. Aroma of straw, some corn, flavor was similar with a metallic bite. Overall it wasnt very good and i didnt finish it.
