Nelson, Citra and Azacca hops combine to make Vertical Dreams - an IPA with a deep, complex flavour profile. First you get the fruity white wine-grape character from the Nelson hops and then Citra and Azacca deliver juicy citrus notes with flavours of grapefruit and mango. A well-rounded brew that celebrates some of our favourite hops!

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8
Lightly hazy, golden-amber colour with a big foamy white cap, good stay and some thick soapy lacing left. Unfiltered particles come out as we pour away. Tiny bubble carbonation. Citrus and apricot aromas from the hops, with hints of lemon zest, raisins and some oats. The mouthfeel is fairly wet, crisp and gets a light tart, dryness in the finish. A touch of nuttiness lingers on the tongue. The alcohol is well-hidden. Not bad, but not one to two in a row. I do have another from the brewery, and will keep a little longer.
