Our newest version of our Surround Sound DIPA has brilliant notes of mandarin citrus, with pleasant undertones of tropical fruit and pine thanks to a huge 20 g/L dry hop dosing of Simcoe and Amarillo hops.

Another very good brew from Collective Arts. They do IPA's well. Hazy pale orange pour. Foamy white head thins and laces well. Aroma is herbal, pine and grass. Flavour has mild sweet malts. Flavours are also herbal, pine, grass, grapefruit and orange peel. Medium mouthfeel with a hint of alcohol in the after taste.

Can from LCBO. Pours a huge frothy white head, thick dirty lacing, has a slightly hazy golden orangey appearance, lively carbonation. Aromas of tropical fruits, floral and citrus hops. Flavours are also mostly tropical fruit, some mango, papaya, citrus zest, a little bit grassy and hinta of yeast. Some mild bitterness on the palate, not overly bitter for a dipa. Slick and creamy mouthfeel followed by a bit of dryness. Quite an easy drinking brew.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow colour with a slight off-white cap, average retention, leaving some foamy-bubbly lace. The aromas are quite sharp with herbal leaves, alcohol and pine notes. The juiciness is hiding in the background. The alcohol seems to show a lot in the mouthfeel, instead of warming, so not as well blended as expected from this great brewery. Very bitter because of this and the hops chose, but not extremely dry. The light juicy feel appears a little in the finish. Not one I would have again, but hope I can taste the Citra version of this beer.
