We’re celebrating our annual Collective Arts Fest with the ultimate summer IPA; loaded with delicious pineapple, creamy lactose and sweet vanilla. To ramp up the punch of pineapple flavour and aroma, we’re dry hopping this brew with 14g/L Sultana hops, renowned for their bright pineapple character. The result is an insanely refreshing IPA.

The beer pours a solid golden orange colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is pineapple, grass, herbal hops, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is pineapple, orange zest, grass, and herbal hops. I was hoping for better. -

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a fairly small frothy off-white head, has a hazy orangey appearance, bubbly and slightly excessive carbonation. Minimal dirty lacing. Aromas of vanilla and pineapple are noticeable almost immediately, along with some citrusy and piney hops. Flavours are very much tropical fruits with pineapple being most abundant followed by some mild mango and citrus notes. Vanilla is there mostly in the finish mixed with the pineapple. Quite a fizzy and drying mouthfeel.

Hazy golden colour with a frothy-bubbly white cap, good stay and some foamy lacing. The aromas are a real nice blend of the fruity pineapples and the grassiness of the hops. Citrus notes with some lactose sweetness and hints of vanilla to finish it off. The flavours are more on the IPA side, with the fruit notes in the background. More citrus hoppiness. This is one of those that might appeal more to normal juicy IPA drinkers, than those who think this will be to rich and sweet. Happy festival !!
