This dark and tart Gose uses our award winning Prophets & Nomads brew as the base, the pour is a cloudy shade of midnight. This beer is refreshing, with berries that add a surprising punch of sour on your first sip, with low hop bitterness. Coriander and Himalayan salt adds spice and just a touch of sharpness to the beer to finish.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a massive frothy reddish purple coloured head and has a murky pinkish, dark violet appearance. Thick soapy lace. Aromas of berries, wheat, lemon. Flavours are mostly blackberries and currants, some subtle lemony notes hints of a salty nature. Mild tarty notes as well. Fairly strong sourness on the palate. Not too bad.

The beer pours a dark fruity red colour with a generous pink head which doesn’t last very long. The aroma is tart berries, yeast, and some weak acidic notes. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was tart fruit, some yeasty flavour, with a tart finish.

Pours a hazy strawberry-red colour with a big creamy-frothy darker pink head, very good retention and creamy thick lacing. Berry aromas with the fruity sweetness blended with vanilla. The taste shows the berry fruits with a lemon sourness and hints of salt in the finish. A touch of tart on the tongue. The lemon zest comes in the nose with time. Quite a nicely balanced fruity, sour gose.
