IPA No. 14 is a massive ripe tropical fruit and citrus bomb, with distinct grapefruit and lime notes. The delicious hop palate in this double IPA was achieved by using a combination of Idaho 7, Citra, and Motueka, some of the most quality and fun hops around, dry hopped at a whopping 20g/l!

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy white head with thick soapy lace and has a hazy yellowish golden coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral and grassy hops, some citrus and wheaty notes and a bit of yeast as well. Flavours are mostly citrus, grass, pine and yeast. Some tropical fruit notes like pineapple are also noticeable. Sweetness on the palate, not much bitterness. Pretty good.

The beer pours a hazed pineapple gold colour with a loose bubbly white head which doesn’t last very long, and leaves little lacing. The aroma has some wet grass, pineapple, tangerine, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is dominated by the fruit notes, but the grains can be detected. Not very bitter in the finish. -

Hazy golden-yellow colour with a frothy white cap, good stay and some foamy lacing. Big citrus peel aromas at first with some blending orange, pineapple juices notes and mild honey. The taste is not too bitter, and the dryness is just above average. Quite juicy, wet and going down way too easy for a DIPA. Nice !
