IPA No.16 is a refreshing blend of juicy and floral. Brewed in honour of International Women’s day, the nose is fragrant while retaining a strong backbone of hoppy aromatics. The complex hop blend was designed by the Pink Boots Society, an organization created to assist, inspire, and encourage women in the beer Industry, and lends a subtle floral sweetness. The beer finishes with an effervescent pop of pithy grapefruit for an elevated IPA with a distinct and striking flavour combination.

Aromas of hoppy, grassy and grapefruit zest. Hints of fruit. Smooth mouthfeel with a little dryness. Perfume, floral taste. All-around nice hops that blend well. Hazy golden-amber with a frothy-bubbly head, decent stay and lacing. A decent IPA that has the grapefruit in the nose, and the elderflowers in the flavours.

The beer pours an opaque light gold colour with almost no head, and very little lacing. The aromas are tropical in nature, with hints of cereal malts, yeast, and citrus zest. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is very grassy with light hints of tropical fruit and yeast. Definitely not my favourite of their IPA seies. -

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a nice big frothy off-white head, lots of thick soapy lacing and has a hazy golden orangey coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of citrus and tropical fruit, some pine and grassy hops in the mix, also some hints of yeast and wheat. Flavours are very citrusy and fruity, mostly of the tropical fruit variety. A lot pine and grass as well. Nice hoppy bitterness on the palate and not too overwhelming.
