It's back!! We are bringing back the overwhelming fan-favourite IPA #5 for the latest instalment in our IPA Series. This DIPA is made with massive amounts of Simcoe and Citra hops, which are bursting with notes of bright grapefruit citrus, juicy tropical mango and passionfruit, with pleasantly dank, piney undertones, and a touch of lactose for sweetness.

The beer pours a slightly hazed lemony gold colour with a bubbly off-white head which doesn’t last very long. The aroma is very citrus forward with hints of grass, yeast, and other tropical notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. This is very lively on the tongue. The flavours are a nice balance between the grassy malts, the sweet tropical notes, and the citrusy sourness. Quite enjoyable. -

Can that pours a fluffy-bubbly off-white head, decent retention and some foamy-soapy lacing. Hazy golden colour. Not as much citrus aromas as expected with this one, as more fruity-sweetness pineapple notes. The taste shows some citrus zest showing a little dry-bitterness, and less sweetness. Hints of pineapples again. Not bad, and alcohol well-hidden, but not one I expect from Citra hops.
