Our biggest and just possibly our most beautiful IPA Series release to date. IPA #8 is double dry hopped with Simcoe, Moutere and Columbus hops, so you should expect a cloudy bright pour and intense fruit, dank citrus and pine notes. Best enjoyed as soon as you can get it in your house.

Can from lCBO. Pours a big frothy white that gives off thick dirty lacing and has a hazy golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of citrus and floral hops, a bit piney and yeasty. Flavors are fruity and juicy, lots of tropical fruit notes, pine and grass, some yeast and tart notes as well. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. A little bit of bitterness on the palate. Goes down quite easy. Pretty good overall.

After mostly IPAs in this series, this no. 8 is a DIPA. Can that pours a hazy golden colour with a light orange hue. The frothy white head is good lasting with some great foamy lacing patches. Greasy hops aromas giving some sweetness with the passion fruit from the Moutere hops with the regular grapefruit notes. The taste is quite grassy with big bitterness and a dry finish. Not as much fruitiness here. Some grapefruit peel. Nothing bad if you prefer the grassiness in Imperial IPAs. I was hoping for more fruitiness.
