It’s the season for fresh hops and as the 4th edition of our IPA project, our brewers knew they needed to find a mix that would deliver on an assaulting-ly juicy, dank aroma, and taste. We added hops everywhere but the boil in this hazy yellow brew. Breathe it all in as floral, fruity, pineapple from the Hallertau Blanc, earthy, blueberry, blossoms from the Mosaic, and citrus, gooseberry, lychee from the Citra transport you to warmer longer days of summer past.

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy bubbly white and has a cloudy orangey appearance with small sediment clearly visible. Decent sticky lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of grassy and piney hops, herbs, and some fruity undertones. Flavours are quite citrusy, some yeast hints, herbal and piney hops as well. Some tropical fruit notes, pineapple. Good balance between bitterness and sweetness. Also a little bit of sourness in the finish. Pretty good.

Hazy golden-amber colour with creamy warm cap, long lasting and with some nice creamy lacing. Beautiful fruity citrus juices for aromas with orange juice and other sweeter tropical juices. The hops used in this one really are more appealing to me (Hallertau, Citra and Mosaic). Not crazy bitter, nicely medium-dry with the fruit juices balancing with the mild malts. This is real nice and real easy to drink. Vermont-style, my style.
