Champion Porter of Britain 1993 and 1994, Runner up to Supreme Champion of Britain 1994. A superb winter beer, massive mouth feel and as black as night. The beer is a faithful reproduction of an old porter discovered in the archives.

Dark brown, almost black. Roasted, almost burnt aroma of coffee and black chocolate. Bitter flavour of dark chocolate and grass with notes of caramel and salt. Grassy and chocolately bitter finish. I’m a porterboy so I find this quite tasty.
