Made unfiltered and slightly cloudy, in the Bavarian style, with a special yeast yielding aromas of apple and spice. Wheat beers are enjoying growing popularity, and are especially good in the hot summer months, sometimes served with a wedge of lemon.

Although billed as an "unfiltered" hefe, this "Bavarian Styled" hefe presents more like an Austrian Krystalweizen. Head does not retain as one would expect--even with the cleanest and straightest glass. Good, clovey armoa and clean but somewhat vapid in presentation. Thin and not very impressive. Leaves you hangin'.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with a low head that dissipates quickly. No lacing. Aroma is grassy, flavor is a fruity acidic citrus with some spice. All around OK.
