Pours cloudy straw in color with moderate notes of orange peel, coriander and hints of vanilla. Flavor has upfront citrus with coriander notes that lead into lemon/lime like notes and finishes with citrus and flowers. Incredibly refreshing and drinkable.

Poured up on tap at Cigar City Brewing Tap room with totally opaque apricot sort of grapefruit juice body and white head. The aroma is all estery fruitiness with banana and pear and rounded out by citrusy orange like notes as well as grainy malts. The taste is smooth with grainy malts, some banana, ripe green apples and then getting brighter and crisp with bitter citrus, spicy yeast and some coriander. It ends with a very light yeast chalkiness joining in as well. Yummy fresh brew.

May 2013: 355 ml can at Lompa Friluft, Oslo. ABV is 5.0%. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma and flavour of Belgian saison yeast, curacao orange peel and coriander. Fizzy mouthfeel. A good witbier, but no better than the Belgian originals, so it seems rather superfluous to import it to Europe.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours a massive frothy off-white head that sticks around for the long run and has a lightly hazed orangey appearance. Thick dirty lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of wheat, yeast, citrus and floral hops. Flavours are mostly coriander and lots of citrus hops, some mild wheaty notes with a bit of yeast in the finish.

Slightly hazy, golden colour with an amber hue. The frothy head is warm-white, long lasting with some small creamy lacing. The orange notes and coriander are very present in the nose. Lots of bananas as well from the wheat. The taste is a little toned down, helping with the refreshing crisp mouthfeel that this one should do. Somewhat yeasty, with some oat feeling. If you like the richness and sweetness of wheat in beer, this witbier is for you.

The beer pours a cloudy medium gold colour with a mid sized white rocky cap which recedes to a white ring within a minute or so. The aroma is wheat, smoked wood, herbs, and yeast. Interesting combination. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet wheat and bubble gum to start, giving way to charred wood, and spices in the finish. Again, a very interesting beer. -

Pours clear solar yellow with a very thick and rather persistent frothy ivory head. Aroma has strong yeasty and wheaty strokes with a hint of citrus. Flavor starts with a wheaty core and adds subtle yeast, citrus and coriander tones. Body is a bit thin, and fizz lacking; however, I let the growler sit, perhaps too long. This will definitely take the edge off a sweltering Southern day.

Pours out a very cloudy yellow head with a pure white head. The aroma is very light and mild. The mouthfeel is clean but very thin. The taste is of wheat, citrus and not much else. This is not a bad beer but just to mild for my taste.

A very nice representation of the style. Aroma and flavors of wheat, coriander, and banana. Heavier than a Hoegaarden....similar to Boulder Beer's Sweaty Betty. Not one of my preferred styles, so I would go back to this more for the spring/summer season.
