Bottle shared at SL. Pour was golden/pale colored, typical initial head and lacing, a nice cleanup to a couple earlier sloppy brews. Aroma was citrus and lightly piney hops and something somewhat styrofoamy smelling. The flavor followed the aroma with almost a pilsner like character (related to malt selection or maybe just a noble hop selection?) and no off flavors in this one like the aroma. OK stuff.

A golden bronze with a good head. There’s very low hopping and a slightly watery finish. It improved as it warmed as a nice fruitiness came out.

I've had this a few times, and I can say that is better from draft, than in the bottle. Pours with a definite amber color, thin white head and some hoppy nose. Flavor is that of an American IPA, but hopping is not over the top. This is a good craft brew (not outstanding), but again, better from the tap.

One of the standard year round ales on the beer menu at the Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh, PA. Pipe Organ's head is thin to non-existent and vanishes quickly. It has an amber to orange hue, with scents of roasted malts and perfumey hops. It is very fragrant, with slight citrus (orange & banana), caramel, and spice overtones tickling the nostrils. The taste has a considerable amount of hop bitterness, almost like an IPA but not quite. The aftertaste is very dry and malty. Not too bad, but not my favorite from the Church for sure.

Pours with a golden amber body topped by a medium thick lasting head with good lacing. Slightly sweet malty aroma with a good hoppiness and fruity notes. Slightly sweet and fruity hop flavor with a good malt balance and a slightly bitter hoppy finish. Medium bodied and smooth with a little tingle from the carbonation.

a very nice english style pale. Available cask coditioned at times. strong hop aroma and palate but still very smooth. A great refrshing ale.
