Strong porter brewed with chicory. La Vache Folle Porter revisite ce classique des styles brassicoles né au 18e siècle en Angleterre. Le houblonnage traditionnel au houblon Fuggle est complété par les saveurs grillées et épicées de la chicorée. Le résultat : une bière de réconfort aux reflets «feuille-morte» pour accompagner la féerie de l’automne!

Pours a cola brown colour with a creamy warm beige head that lasts quite a long time and creates thick, chunky and creamy lacing. Big aromas of molasses at first. Then, some dark fruit, roasted malt with hints of hops in the background. Caramel and plums ends up being the smell that stays. Oily mouthfeel, quite slick. Smooth tasting with some roasted malt and dark fruits, but quite mild overall. The head is still sticking around... beautiful. Very good drinkability as the mouth is quite smooth and well-balanced. Wish it had a little more taste to it though.
