The beer pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a long lasting creamy light brown head. Lots of lacing as this goes down. The aromas are roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, and light coffee hints. The mouthfeel is medium boed with average carbonation. The flavour was milk chocolate, roasted malt, and there were peppery spicy notes in the finish, but that may have been from my lunch. All in all a good beer.
