Clear golden colour. Decent size white head with good retention and lacing. Grainy malt and citrus aroma. Flavour is similar to the nose with a hint of pine and grass. Not quite the flavour I prefer in a session ipa.

On tap at Bier Markt, Ottawa. Pours a fair size frothy white head and has a clear golden appearance. Fairly dirty lacing. Aromas are quite hoppy with a bit of sweet malts in the mix. Flavours of oranges, very fruity, hoppy bitterness mostly in the finish. Slick mouthfeel. Good retention.

Had this on tap on my first visit to the Ottawa Bier Markt. Pours a slightly hazy golden-amber colour with a head with average retention and decent lacing. Decent hop nose over the grainy malt. Mild bitter mouthfeel with a little dryness in the finish. Taste is fruity with oranges (and other citrus) with the grass. A very nice hopped session ale that is refreshing. Gets a little more bitter with food.

Gifted can. Pours like a 'regular' IPA, clear medium gold with a thin white head. Pretty impressive aroma, grapefruit and some pine resin. Mouthfeel lighter than I like but not thin. Flavour resembles the aroma, with a reasonable amount of citrus and pine. Finish had a metallic quality. Not that bad for an 'IPA-light'. Drinkable, but I do prefer the 'real' Red Racer IPA.
