Part of Across the Nation East mixed pack, 355ml can. Pours a fairly large foamy bubbly white head and has a clear straw coloured appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of biscuit and bready malts, a bit grainy, some grass and herbs. Flavours of biscuit and bready malts, a little bit sweet and faintly sugary. Subtle hints of nutmeg, some other similar style spices. Medium body. Nice dry and slightly bitter finish. Good overall.

Part of their Across the Nation Collaboration - Back East (2018). Pours a clean golden colour with an amber hue. The head is off-white, foamy, not lasting too long and with just a soapy ring left. Cereal grain aromas with bread notes with the yeast and all. Quite sweet in the nose as well, almost fruity. The taste shows the cereal grains again, but not as sweet and with a tad of grassiness. Hints of dryness in the finish. Not one to drink many of these, but if you like a slightly hoppier Marzen, this might be for you.
