A complex beer with plenty of coffee and dark chocolate flavours. The complexity comes from using no water at all in the brewing process. Only maple sap was used to make this porter.

Picked up a 1L bottle at the brewery. Pours a fairly large frothy bubbly beige head and has a dark amber coppery appearance. Nice dirty lacing. Aromas are nutty, resin, subtle caramel and sweet malt notes. Not much maple showing. Flavours are light roasted malts, caramel. Maple is a bit more noticeable in the flavour, but still very subtle. Not overpowering either, so could be a good thing. Fairly smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Good retention.
