Rerate can: I overrated this beer grossly the first time. This is not much more than an average strong pale lager. Original rating, bottle at the Carlsberg Brewery guest room in Copenhagen: Probably the best medium-strong lager I've had. Lots of taste. Well done Carlsberg!

Clear yellow with small white foam ring. Aroma is barley dominated. Taste is normal, nothing outstanding. Up till now those Carlsberg DK beers are not outstanding. (Velp 201308)

i sampled this once over here in singapore and enjoyed it. they market it as Carlsberg Gold and it is 5.5% abv. totally different from the regular green label that we always drank. maltier, sweeter and barely any trace of bitterness. like it's green label counterpart, it is easy to drink despite the higher alcohol content. love this brew. will drink it again definitely.

Very nice Danish beer, abolutely best served and enjoyed icecold, always a place in my fridge for as many as I can possibly jam in there, most often I drink this from a can as it is easier to get a hlod of in cases from Germany, but occasionaly ordered in bottle if I am at the pub.

Canned. Golden colour, big white bubbly head. Maltish grassy nose. Pleasant wellbalanced flavour of sweet malt and hops. Clean. Pretty nice.
