A full-bodied, full on Double I.P.A. combining caramel and malt flavours, with a well-balanced and sustantial bitterness. Light carbonation allows the full flavour of this Double IPA to shine through. At 7,5 % abv, this high alcohol content is balanced with a caramel sweetness and a full bodied malt character. Generously hopped and dry hopped, it is a true treat for fans of the style and beer lovers alike. Additional tasting notes * colour/appearance : copper toned body with a lightly carbonated head * aroma : intensely aromatic with fruit and floral notes * aftertaste : long lasting hop bitterness with a caramel sweet finish. On your table : * serving temperature 6 - 8° C, * food pairing : perfect with spicy foods such as Thia or Indian. Excellent with strong cheeses. Availability : Keg (carbonated), bottle 50 cl, occasional 41 L Cask.

April 2014: 500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish notes of caramelized orange marmalade, crystal malts and citrussy and piney American hops. Medium sweet flavour, with the same elements as in the aroma. A little less sweetness and even more hops would be nice, but this is still not a bad shot at an "American" IPA.
