Taps clear golden with a thin eggshell head. Aroma presents fresh malt and a snip of hops, not strong but serviceable. Flavor offers good raw malt and subtle hop tones. Clean mouthfeel has OK fizz and body. Capital in the Capitol!

Not my favorite brew at Capitol City, but the lightly hopped taste is very refreshing. Really clean finish and lightness makes it great with most foods, especially seafood/fish.

I had this in a sampler a while back, and remembered its light, refreshing sweetness. When I got a full pint, I found it a bit more bitter than I'd remembered, but still a good bit sweeter than other Kolsch I've had. It's still refreshingly wet without seeming too watery. Decent. Wish I'd been able to write more thorough notes.

A very pale yellow with a bone white head. the aroma is lightly hoppy, almost minty. The flavor has a crisp dry maltiness and a good tingly hop finish. This is a pretty tasty little starter beer.

Draught at Capitol City, Downtown, DC. Pale golden colour with a slim white head. Light bodied, fruity, with light hops. Nothing particularly good or bad about it.

Okay i had only had one of this style before and wasn't a fan, this one however changed my mind. Poured a golden color with perfect lacing. Grassy and floral hops solid beer

This one exceeded my expectations. Nice light golden color with excellent lacing. Very smooth with a light grassy and floral hoppy presence that was super well balanced with the malty base. Very drinkable.

Sampled at the Shirlington, VA, Capitol City Brewery location, this was a very nice, dry kolsch. Not much head, but a medium-golden color and a hoppy aroma. Dry taste, hoppy, and a clean finish. Terrific with dinner!

Uniform, steady bubbles; strong straw color I would expect from a Koelsch; absence of a good pour made it difficult to evaluate head; flaccid taste; malty character lingers, lending a good mouthfeel; underhopped for style (would like to experience with a greater early or late hop addition.
